the movie that shaped American Religious fundamentalism A birth of a nation I am taking AP american history i just read the part about what happens in the begging of the roaring 20s
and i want to under statnd how this movie motivated people to join the KKK in the early 1920s and spartked religious fundamentalism and hatred for forgeners to destroy our pure White Americans. and there KKK slogan "Native, White, Protestant Supremacy" and this shaped how John T. Scopes Vs William Jennings Bryan and the theory of evolution Vs the literal Reading of the bible. its really funny. the KKK falls in 1925 by the leader David C. Stephenson picked up his young secretory got her drunk on illegal liquor then assauletd her on a train the when she took the poison she die and he was convicted of man slaughter.
KKK fundamental vales were of small town protestant keeping people from the evils of the permisquity of the city life and keeping the ban on alcohol like it was in the 21 amendment there was more but i don't remeber what it is. i just did a bref summary you realy want to know more look it up in a history book that is not to biased
